Hype Lights is a pop-punk/metal band from Lyon, France, known for their high-energy riffs, powerful melodies, and introspective storytelling since their foundation in 2021.

Their journey began with the release of their debut EP, Reckless, in 2021. In 2022, they had the honor of opening for Being As An Ocean in their hometown, a milestone that prefaced their first UK tour later that year. The momentum carried into 2023 with a second UK tour, where they performed fan-favorite tracks like Fever Dream.

November 22, 2024, marked the release of their second EP, Leave It All Behind, a seven-track collection exploring themes of resilience, personal growth, and self-acceptance. This EP reflects a turning point for the band, embracing a renewed energy and refined sound with their new lineup (Vocals : Adrien – Guitar : Bastien – Bass : Victor – Drums : Louis).

2025 kicks off with Wear The Crown, out on February 28—the first single to introduce their new artistic direction. In April, the band will embark on their third UK tour, bringing their evolving sound back to British audiences. The momentum continues in May, as they take the stage at Artificial Waves 2025, alongside some of France’s biggest metal acts, including Resolve, Ashen, and Revnoir.

With a relentless drive to evolve and connect with their audience, Hype Lights continues to carve their own path, delivering music that hits deep and leaves a lasting impact.
